Tim Ingram

Tim Ingram

Owner / Funeral Director & Embalmer

Tim Ingram grew up in Okmulgee, OK and was around the funeral business from a young age. He would get out of High School during the day in the event of a funeral service to play the organ or piano at their local funeral homes. After High School graduation, he built his own house and started working at Saint Francis Hospital in Tulsa, OK. Tim met his wife Christy at Oral Roberts University where they attended nursing school together. After graduation, he worked as a Registered Nurse with his Bachelor of Science in Nursing for many years including in the areas of ER, ICU, and Hospice. Around Christmas 2014, God reignited the dream of owning a funeral home to serve as a ministry to those in time of need and Tim obediently answered the call. In faith, Tim and Christy packed up their three kids and moved to Oklahoma City to enroll in the funeral program at University of Central Oklahoma. Under the direction of Scott Smith with the Vondel L. Smith Mortuary family, Tim worked as an apprentice and funeral director. Tim graduated with his Bachelor of Funeral Science and Embalming.

In January 2017, Tim took over the operations at Smith & Turner in Yukon and completed the purchase of Ingram, Smith & Turner in 2019. With a background of nursing helping with end of life care, Tim brings that same compassion which gives him a stronger connection to the families he serves at Ingram, Smith & Turner on a personal level relating to their journey. Tim involves himself in the community through various non-profits and attends many community events with his family at the Dale Robertson Center, City of Yukon, and Yukon Public Schools.

Christy Ingram spent most of her childhood in Montana enjoying the beautiful mountains, outdoor activities, and a musical upbringing. She moved back to her birth state of Oklahoma for college at Oral Roberts University in Tulsa. To raise funds for the Mabel C. Fry Library in Yukon, Christy is a member and treasurer of the Yukon Ladies Library Club. Tim and Christy have four wonderful children: Maximus, Abigail, and Victoria, who all attend a local Yukon School, and Mason who lives in their hearts and in Heaven. Their two doodles Sofia and Oakley love to comfort people (especially kids) as the grief dogs at IST.  The Ingram family enjoys outdoor activities, camping and fishing, reading books from the library, and playing games together. Christy and Tim attend the Yukon Life.Church location and support local ministries in the community.
