Owner / Funeral Director & Embalmer / Director of Marketing & Development / Advanced Planning Specialist
Christy Ingram spent most of her childhood in Montana enjoying the beautiful mountains, outdoor activities, and a musical upbringing. She moved back to her birth state of Oklahoma for college at Oral Roberts University in Tulsa. Following graduation with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, she gained experience as a Registered Nurse in pediatrics. She worked in the Labor and Delivery Unit at Integris Canadian Valley Hospital in Yukon specializing in neonatal critical care and also coordinated their Perinatal Bereavement Program for five years.
Graduating from UCO with her Bachelor Degree of Mortuary Science and obtaining her Funeral Director and Embalmer’s licenses, Christy enjoys working side-by-side with husband Tim at Ingram, Smith & Turner. She utilizes her creativity as the Director of Marketing and Development and helps design unique and personal service set-ups, DVD picture slideshows, and specialized memorabilia. With her life insurance producer license, she meets with families to pre-arrange their funeral or memorial services in advance.
To raise funds for the Mabel C. Fry Library in Yukon, Christy is a member and treasurer of the Yukon Ladies Library Club. Tim and Christy have four wonderful children: Maximus, Abigail, and Victoria, who all attend a local Yukon School, and Mason who lives in their hearts and in Heaven. Their two doodles Sofia and Oakley love to comfort people (especially kids) as the grief dogs at IST. The Ingram family enjoys outdoor activities, camping and fishing, reading books from the library, and playing games together. Christy and Tim attend the Yukon Life.Church location and support local ministries in the community.
