Walter Carl Barrett, Jr passed away on July 22, 2021 at the age of 62. Walter was born to parents Walter Barrett and Retha Tackett (Rolley) on December 5, 1958 in Lawton. He met his spouse Celeste Mattice of Syracruse, NY, and they were married on February 23, 1980. He worked as a mechanic on diesel engines throughout his life. He loved his family, his grandkids especially. He was always tinkering with things. He saw worth in things others didn't. Walter will be missed by all who knew him and loved him dearly.

Walter was preceded in death by his daughter Stephanie and father Walter. Walter is survived by his wife Celeste Barrett, son Carl Barrett, daughter Denise and husband James Gilmore, grandchildren Caitlyn, Caleb, Lana, Lauryn, Luccas, and Rickey, and other family and friends. His family will honor him privately at this time.
