Velta Mae (Fitzgerald) Linn

Velta Mae Linn, life long resident of Yukon, Oklahoma passed away on September 18, 2025, at the age of 99.

Velta was born to parents Bessie and Bill Fitzgerald on May 10, 1926 in Yukon, OK.

She was raised in Yukon where she attended school graduating with the Yukon High School class of 1944.

She met her spouse Floyd Linn and they were married for over 50 years. They shared a beautiful life together and were happiest when they were traveling to Colorado.

Together they were blessed with two sons Donald William and Lawrence Wayne. She raised her children with tough love and the importance of faith by the family attending church.

Throughout Velta Mae's life, she was known as a good mother, a loyal friend, and someone others could count on. She will be missed by all who knew her and loved her dearly.

Velta Mae Linn is survived by her son Larry Linn and wife Pam; granddaughter Lesley Thompson and husband Jonathon; grandson Keith Linn and wife Sheri; great grandchildren Kody Thompson, Kelly Thompson, TJ Linn and wife Lauren, Kylee Linn, Kendra Linn; great great grandchildren Faye, Julian, Hayden, Blayklee, Mylee, and Kinslee; along with her extended family who loved her dearly.

Velta Mae was preceded in death by her husband Floyd Linn; parents Bessie and Bill Fitzgerald; son Don Linn; great great grandchildren Kaitlyn and Joshua.
