Velma Josephine (Munsell) Brackett

Velma Josephine Munsell Bryant Brackett, age 94, beloved Mother, was called to her eternal resting place on June 6, 2020. She entered this world on May 6, 1926, in Amorita, OK to Chester & Edith Munsell. In May 1946, Velma met & married Alfred E. Bryant. They welcomed their son Steve Bryant in the following July. Throughout Velma's life she enjoyed gardening, fishing, cooking, and crocheting. She especially liked to spend time with her friends and family while playing cards, dominoes, and other games.

Velma is survived by her son Steve Bryant and wife Glenda; granddaughter Leah; grandson Jason; brothers David & Jackie; great grandchildren Autumn, Jeremy, and Pepper; along with numerous extended family members.

A Viewing will be held Thursday, June 11th, 2020 from 10:00 AM - 8:00 PM at Ingram, Smith & Turner Mortuary. A Service to honor Velma's life will be held on Friday, June 12th at 10 AM at Ingram, Smith & Turner Mortuary with burial to follow at Resthaven Cemetery in OKC.
