Thankamma Kuruvilla

Thankamma Kuruvilla was promoted to glory on February 13, 2020. Born & raised in Nellimala, Kumbanad, Kerala, India, on March 15, 1932, to parents Valiaparambil George and Mariamma George. Thankamma moved to Solapu, Maharashtra. in 1955 along with her husband Reverend Nedungattukalathil Thomas Kuruvilla & started their ministry until 1998.

Due to her husband’s age & illness they moved to Kerala and were there for 5 years. They came to the U.S. on November 13, 2004. During their ministry, they won hundreds of souls for the Lord and established a church in Solapur. Rev. Nedungattukalathil Thomas Kuruvilla was called to glory on September 23, 2006.

Thankamma is survived by her daughters Molly, Jolly, & Soosamma, son Thomas Kuruvilla, sons-in-laws Finny Mathew, P.Y. Philip, & Oommen Samuel, sister-in-law Saramma Daniel, brothers Joseph Thampy, George Philip, and V.J. Joseph, and sister Ponnamma Benjamin, grandchildren Charles & Sheril Mathew, Stanley & Irene Samuel, Jeffrey & Benita Samuel, Christine & Zaphin Varghese, Lindsey & Rufus Stephen, Sherrine, and Ashlene, and great-grandchild Gabriel Varghese.
