Stacey Clarice (Arnett) Barlow

"Don't block the blessing" is the life motto Stacey lived by. She was very good at encouraging others to always receive the blessings others sent their way, but like most of us, Stacey found it easier to give than it is to receive. And oh, how this wonderful woman gave! The result: she was on the receiving end of some of the best blessings life has to offer. Her character was pure and honest and she was a model of the fruit of the Spirit: love, joy, peace, patience, goodness, kindness, gentleness, faithfulness, and self-control. This Beloved Nana knew her greatest blessings in life were her daughter and son-in-law, and two granddaughters.

Her life was lived for the benefit of others. Many knew her as the "rock" that was always stable and available. The Christian values instilled in her as a child served as the foundation for her entire life and were the values she lived out in front of her family, friends, and employees. Stacey was a manager at Southwestern Bell, oversaw over 300 employees while working for American Airlines, and retired from a job she certainly loved as a Financial Monitor at the State of Oklahoma Department of Emergency Management. Her influence saturated the workplace she constructed providing a level of leadership seldom seen in today's business environment. The difference her influence made in the lives of others she served is literally incalculable.

Stacey Clarice Barlow was born August 19, 1958, and grew up in Coyle, Oklahoma surrounded by family and a close group of friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, Charles Arnett and Patricia Beatey, and her brother Mike Arnett. She is survived by her daughter Courtney Flinton and husband Andrew; grandchildren Samantha and Emerson; brother Jeff Arnett; ex-husband Terry Barlow and his sister Diana and brothers Gary and Larry; nieces Michelle, Heather, Victoria, and Rochelle; and nephews Trevor and Jason.

A public viewing will be held Monday, November 29th from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Ingram, Smith, and Turner Mortuary at 201 E Main Street Yukon, OK. The service celebrating her life will be conducted on Tuesday, November 30, at 10:00 AM, also at Ingram, Smith, and Turner Mortuary. Following the service of celebration, a graveside service will be held at the Frisco Cemetery.
