Shirley Dean (Line) Brattin

Shirley Dean Brattin passed away on March 28, 2023, in Oklahoma City, OK at the age of 88. Born on March 7, 1935, in Clovis, NM, Shirley was the daughter of Aubrey and Trula Line. She grew up in a loving family with her siblings, Sandra, Rena, and Joe.

Shirley met the love of her life, Robert Brattin, and together they raised two wonderful children, Roger and Vicki, whom she loved deeply and always put first. Shirley was known for being a devoted and loving mother who worked full time to help provide for her family. Shirley enjoyed watching various ball games of her son and grandchildren. She had a passion for bowling and enjoyed traveling with her girlfriends and family, particularly to Red River, New Mexico. She was also a fan of the Dallas Cowboys and Thunder, and never missed a game.

Shirley is preceded in death by her parents, Aubrey and Trula Line, and her sisters Sandra Johnson and Rena Kay Genet. She is survived by her brother Joe Line and wife Viann, son Roger Brattin and daughter Vicki Anderson, as well as her 4 grandchildren: Josh Blair and wife Angela and children Owen and Graham, Dillon Brattin, Joseph Anderson and wife Rachel, and Audrey Anderson.

Shirley will be remembered for her love of family, her dedication to her work and her kind heart. Her memory will live on in the hearts of all those who knew her. Shirley's life will be remembered on Friday, April 14, 2023, at 10:00 AM at the Yukon Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Ingram, Smith and Turner Mortuary in Yukon, OK.
