Shanda Lynne Barnes

Shanda Lynne Barnes passed away on January 7, 2021, at the age of 47. Shanda was born to parents Jon Booze and Laquetta Alexander on May 27, 1973, in El Reno, OK. She grew up in El Reno and loved to spend her free time with family and friends. Shanda raised two children, Ashton and Addisen Hoerman, whom she loved deeply. Throughout Shanda's life she was known for her warm, caring and generous disposition. Her big, beautiful smile and humor lit up the room. Those who met her remark on how easy she was to talk to and how willing she was to listen. She shared her love and laughter freely with the world. Shanda worked as a hospice and home health nurse for 25 years. Shanda will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Shanda Lynne Barnes is preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Dwain and Carolyn Booze, her maternal grandparents Albert "Curly" and Lynn Jordan, as well as her uncle, Creig Booze. Shanda is survived by her children, Ashton and Addisen Hoerman, father Jon Booze and wife, Sharon, mother Laquetta Alexander and husband, Phil, brother Jerid Booze and sisters, Shaina Lamb and husband, Jake, and Rachel Alexander, aunts and uncles, Cathy and Bob Whitaker, Deniece and Eddy Ditzler, Lesa and Randy Adkisson, Michael Booze and Kaye Ditzler and numerous cousins including Linda Hurley, Greg Vincent, Jordan Adkisson and Meagan Ivie. Shanda's life will be celebrated on January 13, 2021, at 2:00 PM at Ingram, Smith & Turner Mortuary, Yukon, Oklahoma. Masks are required for those in attendance.
