Sam Kallukuzhil Enose (78) was born on August 20, 1946. He was a native of Bethel Home, Thrikkodithanam, Kottamuri,Changanacherry, Kerala, India. A long-time resident of Oklahoma City, entered eternal rest in the loving presence of his Lord and Savior on the evening of April 17, 2025.
Sam was the beloved son of the late Majors K.M. and Aliyamma Enose, and the youngest of his siblings, all of whom preceded him in death: Rev. K.E. Mathew (USA), K.E. Mary
(Mundiyappally), Colonel Lilliamma Isaac (Puthenkurish), Deenamma Paul (Thiruvalla), K.E. Yesumani (Thrikkodithanam), and Gracy Chacko (Mundakkayam).
A devoted husband, father, and grandfather, Sam was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Mary (Ponnamma), whom he married on May 16th, 1976. He and Mary were gifted with 2 children, Lesley and Jeffery. God saw it fit, in 2023, to call his cherished son, Jeffery, to his heavenly home. He is lovingly remembered by his daughter Lesley Yacob and son-in-law Baiju (Jose) of Thiruvananthapuram; daughter-in-law Honey (Rincy) of Ranni; and four treasured granddaughters: Catherine, Elizabeth, Esther, and Anna. His memory is also cherished by numerous nieces and nephews, as well as his sister-in-law and brothers-in-law across the USA, Europe, the Middle East, and India.
Education and work was an integral and important part of his life. Sam attended N.S.S. High School (Kunnamthanam), then N.S.S. College (Changnacherry) and University of Kerala where he received his Bachelors Degree in history and economics. From there he attended Gandhigram University in Madras, Tamil Nadu, India, receiving his Master's in Sociology (MSW). Sam immigrated to the United States in the early 1970s. During this time, he attended seminary at Oklahoma Southwestern College. The need to learn more and more was ignited within him, so much that he even received his associate's degree in nursing from Oklahoma City Community College. Sam worked for over 30 years, of which 20 years were at Ingraham Cactus/Cooper Cameron Industries retiring as a CNC machinist.
Sam's dedication and love to his faith and Jesus was unparalleled. He labored vigorously
for the Lord, serving in various roles within the church. His service included being the young adult Sunday School teacher to secretary for IPC Midwest Region to being the local treasurer for the Pentecostal Conference of North American Keralites (PCNAK). Sam was one of the founding members of First India Pentecostal Church and IPC Hebron Oklahoma. Later in his life, he was able to take time, traveling to India, partaking in ministry and church expansion in the High Range area of Kerala. His life was a testament to faith, kindness, and quiet strength-a legacy that will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
