Russell Ridley Galloway

Russell Ridley Galloway passed away on March 10, 2023, surrounded by his family in the comforts of his home in Yukon, OK at the age of 82. Russell was born to parents Russell and Bonnie Galloway on July 15, 1940 in Hobart, OK. He grew up in Rocky, Oklahoma and loved to ride horses, and play with his cats, dogs, and his cousins. He worked on the family farm and helped run a service station in Rocky with his parents. Russell moved to Oklahoma City in 1969. He met his wife Sarah Galloway when they worked together at Western Electric, and they were married for 50 years. Together they raised 2 girls, Sarah and Pam whom they loved very much. Throughout Russell's life, he was known for his kindness, smiles, goofy dad jokes, and his love for his family. Russell collected guns and would go to the gun range for some excitement, but he never used his guns to hunt because of his deep love for animals. Russell enjoyed every minute spent with his beloved grandchildren. He worked as an Electronic Tester for Western Electric/AT&T for 32 years. Russell will be missed by all who knew him and loved him dearly.

Russell Ridley Galloway is preceded in death by his parents Russell and Bonnie Galloway.

Russell is survived by his wife Sarah Galloway; daughters Pamela Galloway, and Sarah Warren and her husband Everett; and grandchildren Kade Ingram, Rachel Stuck, Rebekeh Stuck, Eilidh Warren.

Russell's life will be remembered on Thursday, March 16th, 2023 at 10 AM at Ingram, Smith & Turner Mortuary in Yukon, OK. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 15th, 2023 from 4PM to 8PM at Ingram, Smith & Turner Mortuary with burial to follow at the Lonestar Cemetery in Rocky, OK. Services are under the direction of Ingram, Smith and Turner Mortuary in Yukon, OK.
