Roy Wayne (Jones) Jones

Roy Wayne Jones passed away December 4, 2025 in Binger, Oklahoma at the age of 83 years old.

Roy grew up in Oklahoma City, where he attended school. At just 17 years old, he enlisted in the United States Marine Corps, beginning a lifetime marked by service, discipline, and pride in his country. A decorated Marine, Roy was awarded numerous medals for his service and carried his Marine identity with honor throughout his life.

A devoted father and grandfather, Roy's greatest joy was his family. He would do anything for his daughter and grandchildren, who affectionately knew him as "Papa." His love extended into the next generation as a proud great-grandfather. Roy also had a love for travel and found true happiness aboard a cruise ship, enjoying the adventure and freedom of the open sea.

Roy is survived by his daughter, Tiffany Ishman, and her husband, Robert; his grandchildren, Robert Ishman IV, Cassittea Ishman, and Melanie Ishman; his great-grandchild, Jonah; along with extended family and many friends who will miss him dearly.

Roy was preceded in death by his parents, Lorene and Cecil Jones, and his grandson, Jacob Irvin.
