Roszella Jean (Ricker) Hobbs

Roszella Jean Hobbs passed away on May 31, 2021 at the age of 77. Roszella was born to parents George Ricker, II and Sadie Lois Ricker on September 7, 1943 in Anthony, Kansas. She grew up in Wakita, Oklahoma. After graduating high school she went to cosmetology school. Soon after she met her spouse Daryle Hobbs. They were married October 13, 1963. Together they raised two children - Monica and Christy - whom they loved very much. Throughout Roszella's life, she was known for her community involvement and love of gardening. She worked as a Beautician for over twenty years and then moved on to a family owned retail business and the local drug store. Once grandchildren were born, she decided to quit working and help to care for them. Roszella will be missed by all who knew her and loved her dearly.

Roszella Jean Hobbs is preceded in death by her daughter Monica Hobbs, her father George Ricker II, and her mother Lois Ricker. Roszella is survived by her husband Daryle Hobbs, daughter Christy Sughru, brother Phillip Ricker, brother George Ricker, III, granddaughter Sophia Sughru, and grandson Samuel Sughru.

Roszella's life will be remembered on June 5, 2021 at 10:00 AM at Ingram, Smith & Turner Mortuary.
