Ronald Dale Macklin

Ronald Dale Macklin passed away on May 19, 2026, in Yukon, Oklahoma, at the age of 68.
Ron was born on July 16, 1957, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, to Donie Macklin and Mary Wood (Tilger). He grew up in Yukon, Oklahoma, alongside his sister Lori. After many years, Mary remarried and Ron was joined by his baby sister, Brook. He graduated from Yukon High School in the Class of 1975. Yukon would always remain home in his heart, and he found comfort in its quiet, familiar way of life.
Ron was a hardworking man who built a career through dedication and skill. He worked as an aircraft sheet metal mechanic at Gulfstream Aerospace, where he met the love of his life, Pamela. The two married in December of 1999 and shared a life built on companionship. Together, they traveled doing contract labor work, enjoying the adventure of the open road and the simple comfort of spending time together. Those who knew them, knew Ron and Pam were happiest with each other, keeping their circle small and their bond close.
Outside of work, Ron had a love for motorcycles, Ford trucks, dogs, and OU football. He enjoyed the things that brought him peace and happiness and never needed much to be content. Though quiet and reserved by nature, Ron's family and friends remember him as a man who was always friendly and kind. He was someone who showed care through presence rather than words. He lived a good and simple life centered around hard work and family.
Ron is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Pamela Macklin; father, Donie Macklin; and sister, Brook Donaldson. He is survived by his only son, Cody Macklin; mother, Mary Tilger; sister, Lori Elam and her husband, Mark; as well as numerous extended family members and friends.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held Friday, May 29, 2026, at 2:00 PM at Ingram, Smith & Turner Mortuary in Yukon.
Following the service, the family invites friends and loved ones to gather for fellowship and remembrance at Mary Tilger's home located at 8104 Sunkissed Ln. Bethany, OK 73008.
