Roger Lindley Obituary

Roger Ray Lindley passed away on January 21, 2026, in Yukon, OK at the age of 67. Roger's family mourns and grieves for the loss of a Husband, Father, Grandpa, Brother and Brother-in-Law, Friend, and Well-Known Hard-Working Man. Roger was born to parents Jessie and Roger Lindley on March 24, 1958, in Tomah, Wisconsin. It was here that he was raised alongside his brothers Vern and Robert and attended school. Roger graduated with the Tomah High School class of 1977.Roger was a devoted father blessed with two children Roger Douglas and Jennifer Lynn. Roger worked hard to provide the best life for his children possible and even took them to work with him on occasion. Since 2003, one of his favorite roles was being Grandpa and Paga to his grandchildren Valerie, Julien, Ezra, Clayton, Erin, Lillianna, and Sam.

Throughout Roger's life, he was known for his love of his family and loyalty to his friends. He made meaningful connections and relationships far and wide with people he came in contact with. Roger was a Republican through and through, insisted on driving Ford vehicles, and valued people who were authentic and real. Roger was stoic and rarely smiled, but kind at heart. For the people who were fortunate enough to be in his realm, he would truly do anything for them. He made the kind of impact where 100 or more men consider him one of their brothers.

Roger met Patricia Hardeman in February of 2001 and the two found a special connection. They began building a life together immediately and finally tied the knot April 20, 2004. They loved planting and growing their garden, canning, and freezing the produce they grew. Many favorite memories are working on their property, caring for their herd of cattle, and taking drives. They looked forward to their bi-annual trips to Wisconsin. They loved vacations, going to estate sales, and spending quality time together on the weekends taking daily walks, cooking, and visiting with family and friends. Roger had a special relationship with Patricia's sister Debbie who knew she could call on him anytime.

Roger worked as plant manager for McClain Metal Fabrication for twenty-four years until their closing. He then started his own company Fat & Happy Services, Inc. installing and repairing commercial cardboard bailers and hydraulicly run compactors.

Roger's life ended suddenly in a heavy equipment accident in the shop on his land. The world will miss Roger for he had many family and friends that his name will be in all their prayers.

Roger is preceded in death by his parents Jessie and Roger Lindley and son Roger Douglas Lindley. Roger is survived by his wife Patricia Lindley; daughter Jennifer Smith and husband Sam; step daughter Liz Scott and husband Chris; grandchildren Valerie Scott, Julien Lindsey, Ezra Lindley, Clayton and Erin Scott, and Lillianna and Sam Smith; brother Vern Lindley and wife Peggy; brother Robert Lindley and partner Tina; along with his nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends who loved him dearly.
