Roger Douglas Lindley passed away on August 11, 2023, in Warr Acres, Oklahoma at the age of 42. Roger was born to parents Roger Lindley and Lynne Reames on July 9, 1981, in Tomah, WI. He grew up in Yukon and spent much of his time at Warr Acres.
Roger was a true family man and the proud father of Ezra and Julien. They were the lights of his life, and he loved them with all of his heart. He graduated near the top of his class from world-class Spartan College of Aeronautics and Technology in Tulsa, OK. He worked as a licensed Airframe & Powerplant Mechanic. Roger was also a talented welder and spent many days tinkering in his shop and in his dad’s shop creating and repairing many things. Roger enjoyed listening to music and jamming out to his favorite rock ‘n roll hits.
Roger's loss has placed a hole in the heart of those who knew and loved him and he will be missed dearly.
Roger Douglas Lindley is preceded in death by his grandfather Norel Quist, grandfather Roger D Lindley, and grandmother Jessie Lindley. Roger is survived by significant other Lisa Lindley; sons Ezra and Julien Lindley; mother, Lynne Reames; step-father, John Reames; father, Roger Lindley; step-mother, Patricia Lindley; sister, Jennifer Lindley; step-sister, Valerie Fowler; niece, Lilliane Smith; nephew, Sam Smith; grandmother Marleen Quist; step-sister Liz Smith; brother-in-law, Chris Scott; niece, Valerie Scott; nephews, Clayton and Zachary Scott; nephew, Sam Scott; his beloved dog, Pappas; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, other family and friends.
Roger's life will be remembered on Sunday, August 20, 2023, at 2:00 PM at Ingram, Smith & Turner Mortuary. Visitation will be held on Friday, 18th & Saturday, 19th of August 2023 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Ingram, Smith & Turner Mortuary. Services are under the direction of Ingram, Smith and Turner Mortuary in Yukon, OK.
