Robert Hollman Obituary

Robert Paul Hollman, a cherished member of the Yukon community, who departed this life on June 25, 2026, at the age of 90. Born on September 16, 1935, in El Reno, Oklahoma, Robert grew up surrounded by family in Yukon, where his legacy began as part of the "crop of 1935," alongside seven beloved cousins.

A proud graduate of Yukon High School, Robert distinguished himself as a running back on the football team, demonstrating both athleticism and determination. After graduating in 1955, he honorably served in the U.S. Army from 1956 to 1958 stationed in Germany, a period he held dear and spoke of with pride.

Upon returning to Yukon, Robert embraced his true passion for farming, managing over 570 acres of wheat, hay, alfalfa, and raising cattle. Known for his exceptional skills as a welder and mechanic, he devoted countless hours in his workshop, tirelessly repairing and fabricating not only his own farming equipment but also assisting fellow farmers in the community. Robert's contributions to local agriculture were significant, embodying the values of hard work and dedication that defined his life.

An active member of the Yukon Roundup Club, he found joy and camaraderie in calf roping and showing cattle at local livestock shows. His two loyal horses, Goldie and Babe, were beloved companions, reflecting his deep-seated love for his family's land.

Robert is survived by his brother, Johnny Hollman; stepson, Mitch and wife Leah; grandchildren, Mitchel, Molly, and Sarah; cousins, Teri and husband Warren Austin, Roy and wife Micki Farrow, Darrell and wife Laurie Lancaster, Missy and husband Vernon Millsphugh; and a host of many other cousins who will remember his warmth and generosity. He is preceded in death by his parents, Fredrick and Alice Hollman; spouse, Myrna; sister, Betty JoAnn Brabits; stepson, Greg; and nephew, Larry Jo Penick.
