Regina Jayne Daves passed away on January 17, 2020, at the age of 40. Regina was born to parents Michael Buckley and Janis Buckley on February 27, 1979, in Whittier, California. She grew up in California and loved to read, craft, listen to music, and fellowship with her friends. She attended college at Southwestern Oklahoma State University in Weatherford, Oklahoma, where she met her spouse Chad Daves and they were married on April 21st, 2012, in Yukon, Oklahoma. Throughout Regina's life, she was known for her creativeness, kindness, and willingness to always help others. She worked as a Clinical Laboratory Scientist at Huntington Hospital in Pasadena, California, and then at OU Medical Center in Oklahoma City, where she truly enjoyed working in the blood bank and training students and new staff. She was also very dedicated in serving at her church and was a very faithful believer. Regina will be missed by all who knew her and loved her dearly.
Regina Jayne Daves is preceded in death by her grandfather George Vonovich, grandparents Sam and Reginia Huth, & her aunt Jeannette Williams. Regina is survived by her husband Chad Daves of Yukon; parents Michael Buckley, Janis Buckley; sister Bonnie Buckley; and grandmother Vicky Vonovich, all of Southern California; as well as many other family members.
Regina's life will be remembered on Saturday, January 25, 2020, at 2:00 PM at Ingram, Smith & Turner Mortuary. Services are under the direction of Ingram, Smith & Turner Mortuary in Yukon, OK.
