Rebekah Ann "Becky" Heilaman passed away on September 20, 2025, in Oklahoma City at the age of 51.
Becky was born in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, to Edward and Ramona Hamilton on July 5, 1974. She attended school in Bethany from grade school through high school, proudly graduating as a Broncho. She later earned her degree in juvenile corrections from Oklahoma City University.
Becky was a devoted mother to her children and stepchildren: Taylor Staggs (married to Ryan), Meghan Clowers, Braden Clowers, Lauren Acquaviva (married to Joseph), Lexi Heilaman, and Lindsey Heilaman. She was also the proud grandmother, "Lolli," to her two beloved granddaughters, Harper Staggs and Eleanor Acquaviva, who brought her immeasurable joy.
Her love story with Nate was one that spanned decades. The two first met in school, where Nate played sports and Becky was a cheerleader. Though life took them in different directions after high school, fate brought them back together years later through a work anniversary post on LinkedIn. From that moment, their bond was unshakable. Becky and Nate were married on July 31, 2021, in a beautiful, joy-filled ceremony surrounded by family and friends.
Throughout her career, Becky worked in juvenile group homes, served as a school secretary, and later built a career in human resources, where her warmth and compassion left a lasting impact on everyone she worked with. She has been heavily involved in ministry her entire life and served as a youth pastor and worship pastor at multiple churches throughout her life.
Becky will be remembered for her love of baking for any occasion, her talent for planning parties, and her joy in singing and dancing-often to the embarrassment of her children. Above all, her greatest happiness came from being "Lolli" to her granddaughters, a role she cherished with all her heart.
Rebekah's legacy will live on in the love she poured into her family and the laughter and kindness she shared with so many. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.A Memorial Service to honor Becky's life be held on Thursday, September 25, 2025 at 11 a.m. at Compassion Church, 6901 NW 150th St, Oklahoma City, OK 73142. Services are under the direction of Ingram, Smith & Turner Mortuary.
