Parker Puckett Obituary

Parker Darin Puckett passed away on April 5, 2025 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma at the age of 59 following a courageous battle with cancer. Parker was born in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to Sandra and Bill Puckett on October 17, 1965. He was raised in Edmond where he attended school graduating from Edmond Memorial High School.

Parker went on to study business at the University of Oklahoma where he earned his bachelors degree. He had a work ethic that was second to none which led him to working in sales management roles.  Parker's personality along with his get it done mentality is what made him successful in his sales career.

Parker considered his greatest accomplishment to be his two daughters Natalie Marie and Shiloh Marie.  He was a Dad that wanted the best for his girls and didn't want them to want for anything. Parker was his daughters biggest fan at their school activities with his signature whistle in the stands. One of Parker's favorite roles was being Granddaddy to his two grandchildren Judah and Jade. He loved spending time with them at the park, going to the lake, and bringing them sweet treats and toys.

One of Parker's proudest moments was accomplishing his sobriety birthday annually on September 21st for the last 18 years. Because the AA program made such an impact on his life, he volunteered as a sponsor himself. He was even able to pass along his knowledge and support that contributed to his daughter Shiloh's sobriety as well.

Parker's legacy will live on in the memories of his friends and family and will be missed by all who loved him.

Parker is survived by his daughter Natalie Puckett and husband Jordan Flaum; daughter Shiloh Puckett; children he loved as his own Addison Mayberry and husband Colton and Ashton Hoernan and wife Ashton; grandchildren Judah and Jade Flaum; brother Brian Puckett; along with many friends who loved him like family.

Parker is preceded in death by his mother Sandra Elam; father Bill Puckett; wife Shanda Barnes; and his beloved Mimi.
