Oren Berlin Hinkle

Oren Berlin Hinkle beloved Father, Grandfather, Great-Grandfather, and Brother, was called to his eternal resting place on September 8, 2021 at the age of 94. He was born to parents Homer Hinkle and Mina Hinkle on September 17, 1926, in Carter, OK. Following high school, he proudly served in the Army during WWII and the Korean War. Oren married Dorothy Hinkle and they raised 7 children, whom they loved very much. Oren enjoyed gardening and worked diligently as a Layout Operator for many years. Oren married his second love, Rosie, and they made many memories together for 14 years. They both faithfully attended the Church of Christ in Yukon. He will be remembered for his kindness, his big smile, and the love he had for his family. Oren will be missed by all who knew him and loved him dearly.

Oren Hinkle is preceded in death by his first wife Dorothy Hinkle, and second wife Rosie Hinkle, sons Bobby Gene Hinkle and Steve Allen Hinkle, and daughter Vickie Fay Homier. He is survived by sons Oren Richard Hinkle and Kenny Ray Hinkle, daughters Elizabeth Rae Barker and Dorothy Diane Guidry, along with a total of over 40 grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.

A service to honor Oren Hinkle's life will be held on Thursday, September 16th, at 10 AM at Ingram, Smith & Turner Mortuary in Yukon, OK with burial to follow at Resurrection Cemetery.
