Neenu Marie Thomas (also referred to as Peanut and Becks by her sisters) was born on April 17th, 2000 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. She is the second daughter of Thomas (Babychen) and Moncy Thomas. She is the sister of Meenu and Manu Thomas. She attended Mustang Public Schools and graduated from Mustang High School in 2018 as a valedictorian. She had a heart for serving others, which was apparent in her involvement in National Honors Society, Key Club International, and Mar Gregorios Orthodox Christian Student Movement. Neenu attended Southwestern Oklahoma State University, from where she received her Bachelors in Pharmaceutical Sciences and would have received her Doctorate in Pharmacy in two years.
Neenu had a creative and adventurous spirit; she loved painting, cooking, crafting, exploring, and gardening. She was the lead decorator for the church's Orthodox Vacation Bible School. She was an attentive mother to her many plants and could identify any plant anywhere. She would grow aloe vera and give it to anyone who wanted an aloe plant. She loved experimenting in fashion and makeup. Always taking charge, Neenu was dependable, no matter the circumstances. Neenu was a great daughter, sister, and friend. She was selfless, kind, caring, funny, sweet, and trustworthy.
Neenu is survived by her parents Thomas and Moncy Thomas, and her sisters Meenu and Manu Thomas.
Visitation for Neenu Thomas will be held on Friday, October 8, 2021, from 3 - 6 PM with a Prayer Service starting at 6 PM at Ingram, Smith & Turner Mortuary in Yukon. Her Service will be held on Saturday, October 9, 2021, at 10 AM at St. Thomas Syrian Orthodox Church in Oklahoma City with burial to follow at the Yukon Cemetery.
