Morgan Mae (Herring) Herring

Beautiful Morgan Mae passed away peacefully in her sleep on March 29, 2025. She fought lovingly and bravely through 21.5 years of hydrocephalus, epilepsy and cerebral palsy.

Morgan Mae was born July 31, 2003 to her parents Erin and Isaac Herring in Baltimore, Maryland. She was a light to all she met. Her smile, "HI's" and giggles brightened your day. Once she learned your name, she would never forget it. All who met her, loved her and she remained a happy disposition through all her struggles.

Morgan Mae loved to color, her Magna Doodle, writing people's names and her Disney movies. She also loved car rides, boat rides, and being with her family in whatever they were doing. Morgan Mae loved to eat and steal everyone's snacks as well.

Morgan Mae was told she wouldn't make it to birth, or maybe would live a couple of years. She was born 10 weeks early and was 3 & 1/2 lbs. Morgan Mae loved to prove the doctors wrong, and she did. She had over 35 surgeries and procedures in her lifetime.

Morgan Mae beat the odds.

Morgan Mae made us all better human beings. She knew how to love. She adored her brothers and they adore her. We are so grateful she chose our family to be a part of. Morgan Mae is now free of her Earthly struggles and is running and whole. We find comfort knowing she is with both sets of her grandparents now.

Morgan Mae is survived by her father and mother , Isaac and Erin Herring; five brothers, Noah, Sam, Jude, Simon and Luke; and a large number of aunts, uncles and cousins.

Morgan Mae is preceded in death by both sets of grandparents. David L. Herring and Lynn L. Herring; Walter L. Sykes Jr and Karen L. Sykes.

There are no words to explain how much she will be missed. You did it Miss Mo. You will never be forgotten. We will be together again. We love you always and forever Miracle Morgan Mae.

The life of Morgan Mae will be honored with a private ceremony under the care of Ingram, Smith, & Turner Mortuary.
