Michael Jett Obituary
Michael Jett perished at the age of 70 on Saturday, May 31, 2025 due to chronic health complications.
Mike is survived by daughters Elizabeth Kohler, Amy Johnson and husband Brian; grandchildren Preston, Jake, Bryce and Cole; his brother Kevin and wife Denise with daughters Amanda and Valari.
He was born in Shawnee, Oklahoma on May 19, 1955 to parents Mr. Dale and Rosa Jett (Pratt). The Jett family moved to Yukon Oklahoma where Mike would graduate from Yukon High school in 1973. The family farm was where Mike enjoyed time in his childhood, adolescence and some of his adult years. He married in his early twenties and from the union he had two daughters.
Mike furthered his education in data processing receiving multiple certifications from OSU/OKC. He worked operating computer systems for the State of Oklahoma for many years. Mike enjoyed history with a particular interest in WWII. He was known to have an exceptional talent for building model planes and cars with detailed precision and historical accuracy. He found joy in many forms of entertainment and his large collection of music, movies and art reflected his eclectic taste and playful sense of humor.
In his later years Mike would renew his commitment to God and find joy in faithful friendships he made along life's way.
Mike is preceded by his sister Karen Jett, his father Alton Dale Jett, and his mother Rosa Mae Jett.
He will be missed, but we rejoice in the healing and peace he now has with our heavenly father.
