Melvin Dennis Beall

Melvin Dennis Beall, of Edmond, Oklahoma, beloved Father, Husband, and Grandfather, was called to his eternal resting place on May 29, 2021 at the age of 79. He was born to parents Cecil Chester Beall and Virginia Mildred (Cain) Beall on June 24, 1941 in Carnegie, Oklahoma. Melvin grew up in a loving home and wonderful family; they farmed and centered everything around family. He had one brother, Don, and one sister, Joyce.

Melvin served in the Army from 1960 to 1963, and married the love of his life Sandra King (Crenshaw) Beall. Together they raised three children: Cecilia Hope, Dennis Brent, and David King. Melvin always did what he could to ensure his family was taken care of and happy. He worked as a patrolman and detective with the Oklahoma City Police Department. After retirement he enjoyed working security and undercover for Oklahoma Gas & Electric (OG&E) and was highly active in high school football. Melvin will be missed by all who knew him and loved him dearly.

He is preceded in death by his loving wife Sandra King Beall, parents Cecil and Mildred Beall and grandchild Andrea Beall. He is survived by his children Cecilia Hope Mowdy and husband Bo Mowdy, son Dennis Brent Beall, and son David King Beall and wife Pamela Beall; his brother Don Beall and his sister Joyce Sue Willis; and grandchildren Micah Hope Prange, Noah James Burks and wife Hannah Morgan Burks, 1st great granddaughter Ayton Marie Burks, Killian Kingston Vaughn Mowdy, Tyler Henderson Beall, Alexandria Brook Beall Acosta, Carolyn Hunt, Brittani Beall, Latassha Beall, David Beall, Jr., Siera Heffley and Darin Heffley, Liam Heffley, Addy Heffley and Kayden Holmes. 

A service to honor Melvin Beall's life will be held at Ingram, Smith & Turner Mortuary on Saturday, June 5th at 2:00 PM with a burial following at the Alfalfa Cemetery in Alfalfa, Oklahoma. Visitation will be on Friday June 4th from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Ingram, Smith & Turner Mortuary in Yukon.
