Maxine Carol Myers was born on November 18,1947 to parents Arthur and Elba Barnes, in El Reno, OK, and peacefully passed away on March 7, 2024, at her home in El Reno, OK, at the age of 76. Maxine dedicated her life to caring for others as a Licensed Practical Nurse at Park View Hospital. Her compassionate and nurturing spirit touched the lives of many patients and colleagues throughout her career. Outside of work, Maxine found joy in spending time outdoors, particularly fishing and golfing with her husband. She loved spending time with her great nieces and nephews! Maxine's warm personality and kind heart will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
She is survived by her niece, Taylor Felz and husband David Felz; nephew, Tyler Smithwick; brother, Wayne Barnes; great nieces and nephews, Trevor Felz, Camron Hutchings, Holly Hutchings, Mackenzie Hutchings, Parker Felz, and Berkeley Felz, as well as several other nieces, nephews. Maxine is preceded in death by her husband, Richard Myers; parents Arthur and Elba; brothers, Bill Barnes, and Kendall Barnes.
A Memorial Service to celebrate Maxine's life will be held at Ingram, Smith & Turner Mortuary on April 5, 2024, at 6:00 pm. Please join us in honoring and remembering Maxine Carol Myers, a cherished daughter, sister, aunt, nurse, and friend. She will forever hold a special place in our hearts.
