Linda Faye (Beuchaw) Lucas

Linda Faye Lucas passed away on September 8, 2021, in Mustang, OK at the age of 71. Linda was born to parents Vernon and Jessie Beuchaw on January 24, 1950, in Oklahoma City, OK. From a young age she learned the art of cooking, something she enjoyed the remainder of her life. Building an early foundation of a strong work ethic, she helped at a drive-in. Young lovers Linda and Dennis Lucas committed to a life together when she was 16 years old. They remained devoted to each other until his passing in 2018.

Linda, Dennis, and their two daughters have many memories playing games like cards, dominos, solitaire, and putting puzzles together. She had a special place in her heart for animals, especially cats. Linda was also devoted to her faith. She volunteered for much of her life at her Southern Baptist church: from serving in the nursery and at Mothers Day Out, to singing and playing the piano for the congregation. Her family, friends, and church family will miss her dearly.

Linda Lucas is preceded in death by her husband Dennis Lucas, and parents Vernon and Jessie Beuchaw. She is survived by her children Tina and husband Stephen Szabo and Tonja and husband Robert Worthy; grandchildren Justin, Jeremy, Michael, and Hannah; great-grandchildren Anika, Valor, and Aurelius; siblings Larry, Wayne, and Ramona; and other extended family and friends.

A dinner gathering to honor Linda's life will be held Monday, September 13th, 2021 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Ingram, Smith & Turner Mortuary in Yukon.
