Leroy William Smith

Leroy William Smith was born at St. Anthony's Hospital to Phylis (Jackson) and Arnold Smith on June 10, 1960. He passed away January 10, 2021, at the age of 60 at Integris Hospice House in Oklahoma City.

Leroy was raised in Okarche, OK and graduated from Okarche High School in 1978. Leroy started working on the farm driving a tractor and combine at age seven. He worked as a roughneck and retired from ODOT, and also worked for LuGreg and Firestone Trucking hauling saltwater. He lived at his home with a beautiful view and his cats in Hinton since 2017. Leroy's first deer camp was at age fourteen and he fell in love with it. He enjoyed fishing and swimming at Lost Lake and Cedar Lake. He also loved flying in the plane with his dad and listening to music, especially jazz.

Leroy is preceded in death by his mother Phyllis Smith. He is survived by his father Arnold Smith, sister Vicky and husband Tom, brothers Terry and Kurt, nieces Cassi and Katie, nephews Johny and Jaron, great-nephews Kaleb and Liam, and great nieces Lilly and Kre.

Say not in grief "he is no more," but live in thankfulness that he was.
