Katherine Delores (Hogland) Craig

Katherine Delores Craig, loving wife, mother and grandmother, passed away on December 31, 2020, at the age of 92. Katherine was born to parents Temple Houston Hogland and Delilah Waldon Hogland on September 12, 1928, in Tuttle, OK. She grew up in Tuttle and loved sewing, painting and cooking for her family. She wed Bobby Ray Craig on January 18, 1947, and they were married for 69 years. Together they raised their sons David Ray and Foster Houston and daughters Sharon Kay, Katherine Ann and Rosmarie whom they loved very much. Throughout Katherine's life, she loved and cherished caring for her family. She was known as a wonderful seamstress who made matching Christmas and Easter outfits as well as baby blankets for her grandkids. She enjoyed cooking meals for her family. Some of the family favorites are her Scotch Cake, Iced Sugar Cookies, and Eaglebrand lemon pie. As an artist, she could paint many things including oil paintings of scenery and portraits. She attended services at Southwest 84th Street Church of Christ where she was dearly loved. Katherine will be missed by all who knew her.

Katherine Delores Craig is preceded in death by her parents Delilah and Temple Hogland, husband Bobby Ray Craig, son David Ray Craig, sister Anita Marie, brother Gordon Lester "Buck" and wife Virginia, and brother Thomas Henry. Those who wait to see her again are her son Foster Craig and wife Karla; three daughters & sons-in-law, Sharon and Mike Greene, Katherine and George Rockenfield and Rosmarie and Rick McElhaney; 10 grandchildren; 32 great grandchildren; 4 great great grandchildren and her brother Ward Dillian Hogland.

Visitation for Katherine will be held on January 7, 2020, from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. at Ingram, Smith & Turner Mortuary in Yukon. Katherine's family will be having a private service to honor her life that will be recorded and posted following for friends to view. Services are under the direction of Ingram, Smith & Turner Mortuary in Yukon, OK.
