Katherine Elizabeth (McCormack) Britton

Yukon resident Katherine Elizabeth (McCormack) Britton, 85, died January 17, 2021, in Oklahoma City, OK.

Katherine was born December 13, 1935, in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma to Joseph and Clemmentine McCormack. She attended Red Oak School in Oklahoma where she graduated eighth grade as valedictorian. Katherine attended high school in Knoxville, Iowa and continued her education at AIB Business school.

Katherine worked many years as an accountant for Pierce, Couch, Henderson Law Firm and Rick Jones Auto until her retirement.

She enjoyed spending time with her family. Katherine was a very kind and gentle soul; she had a loving and generous heart and was always giving to others.

Katherine is survived by her son Donald Britton, his wife Kristie and their sons Dylan, Morgan and Carter Britton of Amber, OK; sisters Phyllis Langstraat and husband Dwight, and Susan Davis and husband Tommy all of Yukon, OK; and several nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her husband Foy Britton, parents Joseph and Clemmentine McCormack and nephew David Langstraat.

At her request, a graveside service will be held at North Burns Flat Cemetery in Burns Flat, OK on January 25, 2021 at 2 PM.
