Karen J (Bundick) Roe

Karen J Roe passed away unexpectedly on November 25, 2024. Born on December 8, 1948, in Oklahoma City to parents Andrew and Loretta Bundick, she was a proud 1967 honor student alumna of Capitol Hill High School. After raising her children, she continued her studies at El Reno Junior College in Accounting.

A senior Chief Accountant Records Clerk at Southwestern Bell/AT&T, Karen's dedication to her work was matched only by her love for her family. She was a cherished wife to Paul Roe and a devoted mother to Christina, Michael, and Melanie.

Karen's talents extended beyond her professional life, as she was a talented pianist and played for many years for the church. She found immense joy in the roles of sister, mom, and nanny, finding fulfillment in nurturing her family and creating lasting memories with them. She also enjoyed challenging herself with crossword puzzles, showcasing her sharp intellect and love for learning.

Karen is survived by her loving husband of 56 years, Paul Roe; daughter, Christina and husband Curtis Allen; son, Michael Roe; daughter, Melanie Roe; sister, Mary Ann Horseman; and her adoring grandchildren, Christopher Wedman and wife Shannon, Ashley Roe, and great-grandchildren Brody Wedman, Ella Wedman, Baylor Wedman, Andres Sanchez-Roe, and Michael Sanchez-Roe; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She will be greatly missed by her little dogs Abby, Jake, and her cat Garfield.

Karen was preceded in death by parents Andrew and Maudie Bundick, and Paul's parents Ellis and Lola Roe, and sister, Kathleen Goins.

Karen will forever be remembered for her unwavering love for her family. In her passing, she leaves behind a legacy of joy and compassion.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, December 3, 2024 from 4:00PM - 8:00PM at Ingram, Smith & Turner Mortuary. A Funeral Service to honor Karen's life will be held Wednesday, December 4, 2024 at 10:00AM at Ingram, Smith & Turner Mortuary. Burial to follow at Resthaven Cemetery in Oklahoma City.
