Justin Jay Jowers Sr., a beloved father, brother and friend, passed away on February 17th, 2025 at OU Medical Center in Oklahoma City, at the age of 65. Born October 20th, 1959, in Glendale, California, to Horace and Darlene Jowers, Justin lived a life filled with laughter, and a love for his family.
Justin's early life instilled in him a strong work ethic and a love of sports. He attended Marquette High School in Marquette, KS where he participated in wrestling and football. In his adulthood he discovered his love for playing pool. When not working, he could often be found shooting pool and even traveled to Las Vegas yearly for pool tournaments. Justin made many lifelong friendships through the various pool leagues he participated in.
Justin's greatest joy was his children. He is survived by his son Justin Jay Jowers Jr (Raegen), daughter Jennifer Lynn Barfield (Jake), son Cody Allen Pinkston (Ginger); brothers Thomas Jowers and Casey Jowers (Mary) and sister Jannette Godwin; grandchildren Austin, Emma, Payton, Levi, Francesca and Everly. He will be deeply missed by his extended family and numerous friends.
Justin lived a simple life and requested there not be a funeral. Instead, he asked that his children get together and tell stories from the past in his memory.
