On Monday, October 19th at 12:20 p.m., Josiah Athan Adams, loving son, brother, cousin and friend passed away at the age of fifteen. Josiah was born October 6, 2005, to Tammy and Aaron Adams in Oklahoma City.
Like all of us, Josiah was unique. It was easy to fall in love with him. Very quickly he would infect you with his smile, his warmness and especially that kind heart. Once you were in his circle of friends or family, he would open-up about his personal life and give you the chance to give some adult advice.
Fun-loving he was. Watching him run when he played was a joy to behold. He was so fast. And jokes: he loved to joke, but not if it harmed someone. He could not stand that. This might have been the most unique thing about him, his kind heart. This was unique because it showed itself at such an early age. He thought nothing about busting out with "I love you" at any time. If you were unhappy about something, and he caught it, he would come up next to you and try his best to help in that sweet way he had.
Oklahoma was his home, and he enjoyed it thoroughly: the wide-open spaces and the adventure. He was quite the hunter, having taken down two deer after enduring a cold morning waiting for them. Also, he had a natural mechanical ability, repairing his dirt bike and scooter with skilled hands, quickly grabbing the right tool.
Josiah was loved more than words can express. He will never be forgotten.
