Jonathon Elliott Harris

Jonathon Elliott Harris entered our lives around our 10th wedding anniversary in January of 2022. We discovered the joy of his presence on February 26, 2022. For three perfect weeks, we rejoiced in the gift of him. Jonathon means “God has given.” God gave us a beautiful gift in our son. A miracle. He was named after a beloved cousin of his mother, Jonathon Wyckoff, and also in honor of his great grandpa John. His middle “E” name is in in honor of his three cousins who will get to meet him in heaven – Emerson, Elliana and Everett. His middle name particularly reflects the prayers of his cousin Ellie, who so faithfully asked God for him for three years.

Jonathon is survived by his father and mother, Eric and Kristin Harris of Edmond, Oklahoma. His grandparents, Danny and Sheri Harris of Roswell, New Mexico, and Russ and Kelly Weir of Edmond, Oklahoma. His aunts and uncles, Christopher and Lindsay Fetters of Overland Park, Kansas, and Blake and Isla Harris of Edmond, Oklahoma. His cousins, Emerson, Elliana and Everett Fetters. He is survived by his great grandparents, Grandpa Robert Weir, Grandma Jo James, Papa and Grandma Mary Harris, and many extended family who were excited to meet him. He was also survived by a steadfast companion that was sure to be his best pup, Buddy. He was met in heaven by his beloved great Grandma Constance and Dad Dad, his great Granny Charlotte, and his great Grandpa Kirk.

We look forward to meeting him with the comfort that he never knew pain and that he is perfect and whole with Jesus, His Protector.
