Johnny Mac Phipps, beloved husband, father, grandfather, and brother, passed from this life into the loving arms of his Lord & Savior on July 01, 2021 at the age of 70. Johnny was born on September 28, 1950 to Hubert and Evelyn Phipps in the town of Vernon, Texas. For many years, Johnny worked as a Heat and Air Journeyman technician for A-Better Heat and Air. Following retirement, Johnny and Debbie enjoyed playing golf, fishing and traveling together.
Johnny and Deborah, the love of his life, were faithfully married for 49 years. They proudly welcomed two sons, Jayson and Kyle, and greatly loved their grandchildren.
Johnny is proceeded in death by his parents Hubert McCoy Phipps and Evelyn Berniece Phipps, brother Jerry Phipps, and sister Marolyn Phillips. Johnny is survived by his loving wife Debbie Phipps of Tuttle, Oklahoma; two sons, Jayson Phipps of Yukon, Oklahoma and Kyle and wife Ashleigh Phipps of Edmond, Oklahoma; four grandchildren, Finley, Grace, Jack, and Jeffrey; sisters Carolyn Gilliland of Cypress, Texas, and Patricia Dike of Fort Worth, Texas; brother in law Douglas Karcher and wife Donna of Vernon, Texas; and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family has asked that donations in honor of Johnny may be made to Christ Lutheran Church, Mustang, OK.
