John Richard Thomas

It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of John Richard Thomas, affectionately known as Johnny. Johnny was born on November 23, 2021, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, to proud parents, Jon and Jamie Thomas. From the moment he entered this world, Johnny brought joy and laughter to all those around him. He had an unmatched love for food, building block tower demolitions, and would often imitate his older sister, Layla, much to her delight.

Johnny had a special bond with his daddy and could usually be found glued to his side. When Johnny wasn't attached to his daddy, he was cuddled up with his Mommy. He also loved to dance with his big brother, Isaiah, and would light up the room with his infectious smile and laughter. Even when he wasn't eating, John always had a sparkle in his eye and a joy for life that was contagious.

Although Johnny's time with us was short, having transitioned to Heaven on August 23, 2023, he left an indelible mark on the hearts of those who knew him. He will be deeply missed by his parents, siblings, grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, and all who were lucky enough to have crossed paths with him. Rest in peace, sweet baby Johnny, until we meet again.

John's life will be remembered on Thursday, September 7, 2023 at 10 AM at Ingram, Smith & Turner Mortuary in Yukon, OK.
