John Richard Miller passed away on February 12, 2020, at the age of 67. John was born to parents Arnold and Priscilla Miller on March 28, 1952, in St. Louis, Missouri. He was raised in Amarillo, Texas, before moving to Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, in 1968. As a boy, he enjoyed scouting, camping, and scuba diving. He was an avid reader and music enthusiast.
Throughout John's life, he was known for his jovial disposition and his kind and generous nature. John will be missed by all who knew him and loved him dearly.
John Richard Miller is preceded in death by his father, Arnold Earl Miller and mother, Priscilla June (née King) Miller. John is survived by his daughter, Elizabeth Miller of Seattle, WA, his son, Matthew and wife, Alyssa Miller and grandchildren, Meryn and Finnley, of Yukon, OK, his brother, Michael Miller, of Tulsa, OK, his sister, Patricia Miller Kleinke of Maplewood, MN, and their families. He also leaves behind his former spouses Patricia McCullough Miller, and Michelle Harbeck, and beloved step-daughter, Liz Peterson.
John's life will be remembered on Monday, February 17, 2020 at 10:00 AM at New Hope United Methodist Church. Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 16, 2020, from 3:00pm to 6:00pm at Ingram, Smith & Turner Mortuary. Services are under the direction of Ingram, Smith & Turner Mortuary in Yukon, OK.
