Joel Edwin Lamb

On Friday April 5th, 2024 our beautiful boy was called back home to heaven. Joel, from the moment of his birth, was a shining star for our family. His beautiful smile and bright eyes lit up our hearts and any room he was in. His brown eyes were a novelty in the Lamb family. They were a gift from his mother and his Hispanic heritage. His strut (stomach out) announced his presence. He immediately commanded the room radiating joy and happiness.

Joel Edwin Lamb (named after his Great-Uncle Mark) was born to his amazing parents Christopher and Dayana Lamb on October 17th, 2021. His beautiful older sister Anahi loved him from the beginning and they quickly became best friends. He was born in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma where his father was completing his medical residency. Joel loved his life in Oklahoma but also loved his trips to Utah to see his grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Joel loved eating, Cocomelon, bubbles, puppies, swinging at the park, sleeping, and letting you know he was awake by jumping in his crib (which his dad had to wire back together). He also loved Spider-Man and being strong like Spider-Man. Joel had an incredible fighting spirit (he wasn't opposed to hitting his dentist). In fact he came two weeks early to get his life started. This was a wonderful surprise for his parents. He fought until the end.

Joel was taken in his infancy, which is not fair. However, he will be received and loved by those family members who preceded him. His passing is difficult. A piece of our family puzzle is missing, but we understand there will be a time of reunification. One day he will run to meet his parents because his family is eternal.

Joel's earthly family consists of: his father Dr. Christopher Rolland Lamb mother Dayana Lamb; his sister Anahi Belle Lamb; grandparents DeLynn and Margaret Lamb, Antonio and Maria Eugenia Uribe; aunts and uncles Ben and Aubrey Sain, Dylan and Heather Lamb, Michael and Julia Payne, Markus Sean Nugent, Odalis Natali Uribe; cousins Addisyn, Lincoln, Asher, Chloe, McCoy, Jensen, Ellie, Danielle Lynn, Grayson, Parker, and Alphonse.

El 5 de Abril 2024 nuestro hermoso niño fue llamado de regreso a casa, el cielo. Joel, en cuanto nació, era una estrella brillante en nuestra familia. Su hermosa sonrisa y ojos brillantes iluminó nuestros corazones y cualquier habitación en la que estaba. Sus ojos marrones eran una novedad en la familia Lamb. Eran un regalo de su mamá y de su herencia Hispana. Su pavoneo ( estómago afuera ) anunciaba su presencia. Inmediatamente ordenaba la habitación. Irradiaba alegría y felicidad.

Joel Edwin Lamb (llamado así por su tío abuelo, Mark) nació para sus padres asombrosos Christopher y Dayana Lamb en el día 17 de Octubre 2021. Su hermosa hermana mayor, Anahi, lo amaba desde el principio y rápidamente se hicieron mejores amigos. Nació en Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, dónde su padre estaba completando su residencia médica. Le encantaba su vida en Oklahoma, pero también le encantaba sus viajes a Utah a ver sus abuelos, tías y tíos, y primos. Pero entendemos que va aver un tiempo de reunificación. Un día va a correr para unirse con sus padres porque su familia es eterna.
