Joan Barbara Fielding went to be with her Savior Jesus Christ on February 21, 2021, at the age of 86. Joan was born to Mabel Florence Beveridge on August 31, 1934. She grew up in Boston, Mass. and loved to crochet. Joan loved going to church and volunteering at the chapel. She was married to Charles Fielding and they had three sons whom they loved very much. She loved her family and moved to Oklahoma to be near to them. Joan worked at Boston Logan Airport and Mike Monroney OKC for 15 years administering tests for airmen certification. Joan will be missed by all who knew her and loved her dearly.
Joan B. Fielding is preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, Dorothy Corey and Margie Gray. Joan is survived by 3 sons Mr. and Mrs. James Fielding, Mark Fielding and Tami Courts and Stephen Fielding; 9 grandchildren Michael James, Christopher John, Cameron Michael, Matthew John, Elana Jo, Keely Gardner, Grace Jacqueline, Elyna Josephine, Asher James Michael; 5 great-grandchildren Kash Parker, Jackson Christopher, Kasen Tyler, Cadence Rae and Rhett Oliver; 3 nephews Gerard Corey of Florida, Mr. and Mrs. Timothy Corey and son Daniel of Connecticut and Steven Gray of Florida.
Visitation will be held on Friday, March 5th, 2021, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Ingram, Smith & Turner Mortuary. Joan's life will be remembered on March 6, 2021, at 2:00 PM at St. Michael's Church (SSPX), burial to follow. Services are under the direction of Ingram, Smith & Turner Mortuary in Yukon, OK.
