Jerry Dean Klusmeyer, a long-time resident of Cogar, Oklahoma, went to be with his Lord and Savior on September 8, 2020, at the age of 72.
Jerry was born on June 26, 1948, to parents Calvin Klusmeyer and Melva Jean (Belt) Klusmeyer in Anadarko, Oklahoma. He served in the U.S. Army and was employed as a carpenter, home builder and truck driver. He was a much beloved husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather.
Jerry is preceded in death by his father Calvin Klusmeyer, mother Melva Jean (Belt) Klusmeyer, and sister Patricia Patterson.
He is survived by his loving wife of 54 years Lois Klusmeyer of Cogar, Oklahoma; son Rodney Klusmeyer of Chickasha, Oklahoma; daughter Rhonda and her husband Carl Johnson of Carlisle, Pennsylvania; granddaughters Casidy Klusmeyer of El Reno, Oklahoma, Kaycee Johnson of Carlisle, Pennsylvania and Allyson Landry of Chickasha, Oklahoma; grandson Christopher Johnson of Carlisle, Pennsylvania; great-granddaughter Jena Spradling of Amber, Oklahoma; sister Barbara and husband Carl Amos of Norman, Oklahoma; sister Mary Ann and husband Bruce Rowe of Ponca City, Oklahoma, and a host of nieces and nephews.
Jerry's family is honoring his life privately at this time.
We are rejoicing that he is no longer in pain and with the Lord.
