It is with great love and fond remembrance that we celebrate the life of Janis June Sapp, who was born on October 2, 1954, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Janis went on to join Leroy and Brandi on September 17, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of warmth, kindness, and dedication.
Known by most as Jan, she spent her career as an Administrative Assistant in the Department of Human Services, where her attentive nature and commitment to helping others enriched the lives of her colleagues and the community. She was known for her unwavering support and the joy she brought to her work, creating a positive environment for everyone around her. Her greatest joy in retirement was spending time with her granddaughters.
Jan loved her country music and was a big Nascar fan. She will be greatly missed, but her legacy of kindness and compassion will continue to inspire those who were fortunate enough to cross her path.
Jan is survived by her brother, Kurt Jackson and his wife Jeanne, sister, Tina Boag and her husband Larry, sister Kathryn Franzen and her husband James, son-in-law Jeffrey Ross, granddaughters Karli and Berkley Ross, as well as numerous nieces, nephews and life long friends.
Jan is preceded in death by her husband Leroy, daughter Brandi, and parents, James M. Jackson and Doris E. Jackson.
A family gathering to honor Jan's life is being planned for date in the near future.
