James C Chacko

James C. Chacko was born on November 25, 1955, as the third child of Mr. C. C. Chacko and Mrs. Joykutty Chacko, Chanthukavil family in Kadammanitta.

After completing his primary education, he spent a few months with his older sister in Nagpur. He later moved to Kuwait, where he worked for several years.
He married Darley James, daughter of C. D. George and Susannamma George, Chakkalamannil - Vettiyar. God blessed them with two sons: Benjamin James, who lives in Thiruvananthapuram with his wife Priya and their two daughters, Jessica and Jessina; and Jackson James, who lives in Oklahoma with his wife Joselyn and their daughter, Hazel.
In 2010, he migrated to Oklahoma, USA, with his wife and younger son. He worked in the U.S. for a period of time, but due to physical discomfort and health concerns, he eventually retired and spent his later years resting at home and, later, in a nursing home.

In late March 2025, he was admitted to the hospital due to ongoing health issues and peacefully entered into the presence of the Lord, whom he loved and trusted.
He was preceded in death by his beloved parents, grandparents, older sister, younger brother, and his parents-in-law.

James will be remembered as a loving husband, devoted father and grandfather, and a faithful servant of God.

A Visitation will be held from 4:00PM-8:00PM Thursday, April 10, 2025 at Ingram, Smith & Turner Mortuary. James' Home Going Service will be held Friday, April 11, 2025 at 10:00AM at Ingram, Smith & Turner Mortuary with burial to follow at El Reno Cemetery.
