Jaiden Alex Bernal

Jaiden Alex Bernal graced the world with his existence on August 9, 2007. Such a beautiful, sunny summer day to bless us, his parents, Alvaro and Elvira Bernal. We received him with the tenderness of our loving arms. Jaiden became an earthly angel on August 2, 2008 after suffering an AVM on his brain stem. From August 2, 2008 to April 3, 2021 the days were filled with so much love, faith, achievements, obstacles, progression, and celebrations. During Jaiden's journey on Earth, he was Bubba to Zaelen, Aizen, Rowen, and Elowen. These little humans were Jaiden's hands, legs, ears, voice, and heart. It is an honor to see our children learn grace, compassion, empathy, understanding through Jaiden. Having so many special-needs friends made them think everyone had a special sibling at home. They were born into Jaiden's world. At this moment, we want to see the present and future with the innocent perspective of our children.

On Holy Saturday, Jaiden went to his forever home. When given the news that their brother's wings had grown and he was now in Heaven, their eyes glowed with pride, happiness, and excitement. Those four little faces were our sign from God that Jaiden was in the arms of Jesus rejoicing.

Jaiden deserves to be remembered, but not with sadness. Love is stronger than death and as long as there is love and memories, then he will live in our hearts forever. We will forever be grateful for the honor of being his parents. Glory be to God for this child and his legacy. Amen!

Jaiden Alex Bernal honró al mundo con su existencia el 9 de agosto de 2007. Un día de verano tan hermoso y soleado para bendecirnos a nosotros, a sus padres, Álvaro y Elvira Bernal. Lo recibimos con la ternura de nuestros brazos amorosos. Jaiden se convirtió en un ángel terrenal el 2 de agosto de 2008 después de sufrir una AVM en su tronco cerebral. Desde el 2 de agosto de 2008 hasta el 3 de abril de 2021 los días estuvieron llenos de tanto amor, fe, logros, obstáculos, progresión y celebraciones. Durante el viaje de Jaiden a la Tierra, fue Bubba para Zaelen, Aizen, Rowen y Elowen. Estos pequeños humanos eran las manos, piernas, oídos, voz y corazón de Jaiden. Es un honor ver a nuestros hijos aprender la gracia, la compasión, la empatía y la comprensión a través de Jaiden. Tener tantos amigos con necesidades especiales les hizo pensar que todos tenían un hermano especial en casa. Nacieron en el mundo de Jaiden. En este momento, queremos ver el presente y el futuro con la perspectiva inocente de nuestros hijos.

El Sábado Santo, Jaiden fue a su hogar para siempre. Cuando se les dio la noticia de que las alas de su hermano habían crecido y que ahora estaba en el cielo, sus ojos brillaron de orgullo, felicidad y entusiasmo. Esas cuatro caritas eran nuestra señal de Dios de que Jaiden estaba en los brazos de Jesús regocijándose.

Jaiden merece ser recordado, pero no con tristeza. El amor es más fuerte que la muerte y mientras haya amor y recuerdos, vivirá en nuestros corazones para siempre. Siempre estaremos agradecidos por el honor de ser sus padres. Gloria a Dios por este niño y su legado. ¡Amén!
