Jacquita Lee (Jones) Naus

Jacquita "Jackie" Lee Naus departed this world to be with her Lord and Savior on September 13, 2021, in Yukon, OK surrounded by her family at the age of 78. Jackie was born to parents Alvin and Bama Jones on September 27, 1942 in Muskogee, OK. From a young age, she nurtured a caregiving spirit that provided comfort, care, and help to all those around her.

Jackie met the love of her life, Gary Naus, and they were married on December 8, 1977. They raised four children, Chris, Carmen, Michelle and Kim, and they enjoyed traveling on family vacations and cheering for OU's football team together. One could often find Jackie sporting her favorite colors, peach and red, or tending to various species of plants and flowers. She had a collection of antiques that she scouted for on shopping trips and liked to test the odds of winning a few extra dollars at the casino. Joy was also found with time spent with her dogs Buffy and Fancy.

Above all, Jackie was known for her generous and willing heart. She often offered rides for those who needed transportation between doctor appointments, grocery visits, or other trips around town. Jackie, a faithful member of Yukon First Church of the Nazarene, served at all their community events, church ministries, and choir. Jackie will be missed for her kind, caring, and giving soul.

Jackie Naus is preceded in death by her parents Alvin and Bama Jones, son Chris Naus, daughter Kim Redford, and granddaughter Rachel Redford. Jackie is survived by her husband Gary Naus; daughters Carmen Naus and son-in-law Joseph Dick, and Michelle Naus; grandchildren Maddison, Bradden, Gary, Caitlyn, Emma, Shelbie, Nathan, and Ray; brothers Roger Jones and Gregory Jones; and many extended family members including nieces Kelsey Jones and Casey Jones, and nephew Jeremy Jones, and other friends like family.

Jacquita's life will be remembered on Wednesday, September 22, 2021 at 2:00 PM at Yukon First Church of the Nazarene. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 21, 2021 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Ingram, Smith & Turner Mortuary.
