Jackie Dale Howard Sr. passed away on April 19, 2025, in Yukon, OK at the age of 73. Jackie was born to parents Wilbur Howard and Lillian Ditch on February 20, 1952 in Owensboro, KY.

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Jackie Dale Howard Sr., who departed this life on April 19, 2025, at the age of 73, in Yukon, Oklahoma. Born on February 20, 1952, in Owensboro, Kentucky, Jackie lived a life marked by deep devotion to his family and a strong work ethic. He was a well-respected driver for Locke Supply Company, where his kind demeanor and reliability left a lasting impression on all who knew him.

Jackie was a beloved husband to Wanda Howard and cherished father to his son, Jackie Howard Jr., and daughter, Shanda Howard. His family was his pride and joy, as he reveled in the company of his grandchildren, Vincent, Tycen, and Cydney, who brought him immeasurable joy and laughter. Jackie leaves behind a legacy of love that will be carried on through them.

He was the proud son of Wilbur Howard and Lillian Ditch, and is survived by his loving siblings: Carmen Elder, Willa Howard, Nicholas Howard (and sister-in-law, Aliona Howard), Judy Jensen (and brother-in-law, Dave Jensen), Peggy Dively, and Faye Smith. Jackie's generous spirit and kind heart touched the lives of many, and he will be deeply missed by friends, family, and all who had the pleasure of knowing him.

A memorial service will be conducted in celebration of Jackie's life on April 22, 2025, at 11:00 AM in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Following the service, his family will honor his memory through a private cremation ceremony. All who knew Jackie are invited to come together in remembrance and to share in the love and laughter that he so freely offered to those around him.
