Harold Wagner Obituary

Harold E. Wagner passed away Saturday, March 14, 2026 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma at the age of 85. He was born in Kittanning, Pennsylvania on April 29, 1940 to Frank J. Sr. & Iona (Bowser) Wagner. In his early years Harold served in the United States Army.

Over the years Harold, an excellent carpenter/contractor, and Bonnie were owners of Wagner Construction & Wagner Western World in Pennsylvania. He moved his family to Chandler, Oklahoma in 1976 where they established Wagner Custom Builders, Wagner Trailer Interiors, and most recently Wagner RV Center of Shawnee.

Harold was a most excellent horseman, trainer and competed in various events winning many barrel racing championships, saddles, and various awards until failing health changed his hobby to RV traveling, camping with his families at the lakes, and ATV riding in Arizona and Utah. He loved spending wintertime in Arizona, then traveling back to Oklahoma to spend time with his kids and grandbabies and recently returned permanently back to Yukon, Oklahoma.

Harold was such a hard worker, dedicated to his task of quality workmanship, honest and reliable and loved teaching the children life skills.Harold is survived by his wife of 65 years, Bonnie Lou (Claypool) Wagner of the home; daughter Tamila (Tammy) Wolff of Oklahoma City; daughter Lana Evans and husband Brad of Mustang; grandchildren Adam Wolff and wife Brittany, Joshua Wolff and wife Selika, Jackelyn Bennett, Kylie Lofdahl and husband Seth, and Keith Evans and wife Nevaeh; great grandchildren Rowan Bennett, Luke Wolff, Warren Lofdahl and Willow Lofdahl; siblings Frank J. Jr. Wagner and wife Julia, Kenneth Wagner and wife Paulette, and Gloria Cogley all from Pennsylvania; sisters-in-love Cindy and Dave Metz of Kittanning, PA and Charla (Sue) and Curly Rome of Butler, PA. Harold is preceded in death by his parents Frank J. Sr. & Iona Wagner and siblings Nancy Willyard, Joyce Barnhart, and Richard Wagner.

A Celebration of Life is being held in Harold's honor Monday, March 23, 2026 at 2:00 PM at Ingram, Smith & Turner Mortuary. Friends are invited to join the family for viewing and visitation Sunday, March 22, 2026 from 4pm - 6pm. Memorial contributions may be made in Harold's honor to the Yukon Bible Church or the American Cancer Society.
