Geraldine Irene (Simpson) Knox

Geraldine “Gerry” Irene Knox went to meet her Lord and Savior September 19, 2020, in Oklahoma City. Gerry was born April 3, 1927, to Lester Simpson and Daisy Snyder in Piedmont, OK.

In her younger years, Gerry had a gift for musical talents, playing the piano and singing with a beautiful voice. In the 40s, she was part of a singing group and was even featured often on the local radio. Gerry married Robert Lee August 17, 1947, and they had 4 wonderful children together, whom she supported with her whole heart. She attended Oklahoma State University for some time but chose a different path in life. She was a homemaker for most of her life and loved gardening. She also enjoyed collecting rocks; she always came back from the lake and river with buckets of rocks! She also had a passion for caring for everyone she knew. Gerry was compassionate and lived her life as a devout Christian woman.

Gerry is preceded in death by her parents Lester and Daisy; and husband Robert.

She is survived by her children, Pat Bruce, Bob Knox, Debbie Johnston, and Paul Knox; grandchildren Tom Bruce, Christy Garcia, Bryan Johnston, Rachel Johnston, and Stacy Knox; great grandchildren Melanie Garcia, Mekenzie, Morganne, and Kia; and great-great grandchildren Wyatt & Wrangler.

She will be dearly missed by all.
