Gerald Lee Muzzy passed away on July 13, 2024, in Yukon, Oklahoma at the age of 59. Gerald was born to parents Richard Muzzy and Cheryl Perkins on March 4, 1965, in Gunnison, Colorado. He grew up in Yukon, Oklahoma where he worked for Yukon public schools and later in life as porter in the trucking industry. He cherished outdoor activities such as fishing, hunting, walking his dog, riding his bicycle, and watching sports. He was an avid fan of OU football and loved spending quality time with his family, finding joy in their company.
Gerald will be deeply missed by his surviving relatives, including: his mother, Cheryl Perkins; step-father, Henry Perkins; sister, Lynna Kienlen; step-sisters, Sandy Miller and Jana Perkins; step-brothers Scott Perkins, Marvin Perkins, and Bob Sowder; and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation for Gerald will be held Tuesday, July 23, 2024 from 11:00 am until 8:00 pm at Ingram, Smith & Turner Mortuary. A Funeral Service to honor Gerald's life will be held on Wednesday, July 24, 2024 at 10:00 am at Ingram, Smith and Turner Mortuary. He will be laid to rest during a private ceremony on Thursday, July 25, 2024 at Fairlawn Cemetery in Chickasha, Oklahoma surrounded by family.
Gerald was preceded in death by his father, Richard Muzzy and step-mother, Kris Muzzy.
