Geneta Clover

Geneta "Tinker" Hughes Clover, 84, of Oklahoma City, lived a long full life and passed away January 12, 2022. She was one of nine children born to Robert and Juanita (Embry) Hughes on September 7, 1937.

Geneta grew up in Marietta, OK. As a young girl and even as an adult she never met a stranger and could tell you stories about everyone whose path she crossed. Her favorite past time was playing pool at 'A Hole in the Wall' between Marietta and Ardmore. Geneta lived life to the fullest and was always up for a good time. Once she met Chuck they enjoyed traveling the country and loved spending time in south Texas and Mexico.

Survivors include her daughters, Donna Ross and husband Tommy of Newcastle, OK and Janice Elliott of El Reno, OK; brother, Austin Roy Hughes of Marietta, OK; 4 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Geneta is preceded in death by her parents and husband Charles "Chuck" Clover. She is also preceded in death by one son Gene Earl Harmon, one son-in-law Howard Elliott, and her siblings: Leonard "Toots" Hughes, Ernest "Cotton" Hughes, Winston "Buddy" Hughes, and Robert "Junior" Hughes, Estlena Stuckey, Ruby Owens, and Dorothy Clifton.
