Genesis Kai Leake

Precious baby Genesis Kai Leake entered Heaven's Gates on June 12th, 2021. Genesis entered the world to his loving parents Canisha and Monteco Leake on December 14th, 2020 in Oklahoma City.

Genesis Kai, or "Kai my little Guy" as his mother liked to call him, his siblings called him Gen Gen and Soyaire couldn't pronounce his name so she called him Gengis. Genesis was a sweet and loving boy. He enjoyed listening to his favorite song "More, More, More" by Joann Rosario mostly sang to him by his mom. The youngest of three children, Genesis enjoyed spending time with his older siblings, brother Karter and sister Soyaire. His favorite toy was a sloth he could pull in his car seat. His favorite thing to do was watch Karter and His Dad. His Aunts, Uncles and Grandparents doted on him, and he will be forever loved and missed by all his family.

Genesis is survived by both of his parents, Monteco and Canisha Leake; brother Karter Leake, and sister Soyaire Leake; numerous uncles, aunts, and cousins; grandmothers Patrice Adams, Janice Taylor, and Teanesa Taylor; Shirley Taylor, grandfather Wayne Wordfork; special grandparents Weslie White, Sharon Babcock, and Anthony and Cindy Jemes. Genesis was proceeded in death by an aunt Karisma Taylor, grandfather Ron Taylor, and Gary Woodfork.

A public visitation will be held on Thursday, June 24th, from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Ingram, Smith & Turner Mortuary. The funeral service will be Friday, June 25th at 2:00 PM at Ingram, Smith & Turner Mortuary in Yukon with burial to follow at Rose Hill Cemetery.
