Faithe (Houx) Brown

Faithe Brown was born into this world December 12, 1932, in Pecos, Texas to parents Lillie Belle Houx and Earl Ollie Houx.
Unfortunately, her mother passed away just a few days after giving birth to baby Faithe. Her father took tiny newborn Faithe, her brother Melvin and sister Joyce to his parents' farm in western Oklahoma where her paternal grandparents Minnie Houx and Charles Houx would raise Faithe until she married in 1949 to Bert Brown.
Recently, on October 2, 2024, Bert, and Faithe celebrated their 75th anniversary, a huge accomplishment. Faithe passed from this life into Heaven shortly after on October 13, 2024.
She is survived by husband Bert, daughter Marilyn Barta (Greg), son Charles Brown (Marilyn), grandchildren Clinton Brown, Dillon Brown, Whitley Erickson (Brad), Allison Bailey (Kevin) and Nathan Barta (Rebecca). Faithe is also survived by ten joyful great grandchildren that she adored, plus one on the way. She is also survived by sister Earlene Houx of Plainview, Texas.
Faithe was preceded in death of her parents, her brother Melvin Houx and sister Joyce Spence.
Private graveside service was held on Tuesday, October 22, 2024 at the Yukon Cemetery.
